About Global Emergency Numbers

Who we are

Global Emergency Numbers is a free, multilingual directory of police, fire brigade, ambulance, coast guard and utility emergency phone numbers for every country and territory in the world. We launched this service because knowing the right number in a crisis can save lives.

Our data sources

All numbers are sourced from ITU-T E.129 (International Telecommunication Union recommendations on important telephone numbers) and cross-checked against official government websites and national emergency services. We update records regularly and invite corrections from users.

How to use this site

Type a country name in the search box on the home page, or browse the A–Z country directory. Each country page lists primary emergency numbers for police, fire, ambulance and other services, with tap-to-dial links. You can also browse by service type.

Offline access

This site is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can add it to your phone home screen for app-like access. Pages you have already visited are cached by your browser and remain accessible without an internet connection — even on a plane or in a remote area with no signal.
